Katie Schraeder is a freelance trombonist and private teacher in the Southern Maine/Seacoast, New Hampshire area.

She is an avid pit orchestra musician, working regularly with professional theaters like Ogunquit Playhouse (Ogunquit, ME), Seacoast Repertory Theater (Portsmouth, NH), Interlakes Summer Theater (Meredith, NH), and more - as well as recently appearing on the Broadway tour of Mean Girls. She also frequently performs with other local groups, including the Dirigo Trombone Quintet, Maine Brass Collective, Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, Granite State Choral Society, Rockingham Choral Society, and more.

Her private studio is comprised of trombone, trumpet, euphonium, and tuba students from around the country and she is always accepting new students!
